On June 9, a drone crashed into an apartment building in Voronezh. Three people were injured. This was reported by Governor Alexander Gusev on his Telegram channel.
When a drone plummeted onto a residential building in Voronezh, three individuals got injured by fragments of shattered glass. Immediate medical attention was provided at the scene, the victims opted against hospitalization.
The incident prompted the swift response of several security agencies, including the Russian Federal Security Service and the Emergencies Ministry, among others. Experts will determine whether the affected section or the entire building necessitates relocation. The apartment where the drone struck was unoccupied at the time of the explosion. Governor Alexander Gusev pledged assistance to the residents.
The drone might have been en route to the “Baltimore” airfield. An alternative theory suggests that its intended target was the aircraft factory situated on Tsiolkovsky Street.
On the same date of June 9, another drone descended upon an office edifice in Belgorod. Although it caught fire upon impact, it failed to detonate. The roof of the office building and a nearby boiler house suffered notable damage, and two vehicles were marred by the drone fragments. A drone also crashed in close proximity to an oil depot in Kursk. Governor Roman Starovoit reported that no harm or destruction occurred at the site.
