The fire spread to a private house in Aleksandrovka, Azovsky District, claiming the lives of two individuals despite doctors' efforts to save them. Governor Golubev announced that an investigation into the tragedy is underway.
Aleksandrovka, along with other settlements in Rostov Oblast, has been affected by a large-scale wildfire. The region is currently facing strong winds and a high risk of fires.
In the past 24 hours alone, nearly 140 fires have broken out across Rostov Oblast, destroying 13 houses and the central city market. A state of emergency has been declared in the Aksaysky and Neklinovsky districts. In total, 30 buildings have been destroyed, according to Governor Golubev, who promised assistance to those who lost their property.
