Statues of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin, the founders of the Wagner PMC, have been installed at the Nikolayevskoye Cemetery near Samara, as reported by the Telegram channel "Wagner’s Discharge" on August 12.

Prigozhin and Utkin’s callsigns — "First" and "Ninth" — are engraved on the monument alongside the numbers of their military badges.

The sculptures were placed near the burial site of Wagner PMC members. A few months before his death, Prigozhin visited the cemetery to honor the memory of those deceased.

A similar monument dedicated to the founders of Wagner PMC was erected in April near the Molkino military training ground in Goryachy Klyuch, Krasnodar Krai. Another statue is located at Yevgeny Prigozhin’s grave in Saint Petersburg. A stone with the inscription "Blood, honor, justice, homeland, courage, Wagner PMC" was laid at the site of Prigozhin and Utkin’s deaths in Tver Oblast.

Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin died in a plane crash in Tver Oblast on August 23, two months after the "March of Justice" to Moscow, during which Wagner PMC members passed through the Rostov, Voronezh, and Lipetsk regions. Vladimir Putin stated that Prigozhin’s death was caused by the explosion of a hand grenade aboard his business jet.
