An evacuation point for residents of the Glushkovsky, Rylsky, and Korenevsky districts has been established in Rylsk. Residents will be transported by bus, according to the regional government’s press office.
On August 8, the head of the Rylsky District, Andrey Belousov, urged residents to evacuate either independently or using buses provided by the authorities, but he deleted the post half an hour later.
According to Z-channels, battles are already taking place in the Korenevsky District, with Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of Korenevo. As recently as August 7, Russian authorities were still denying that the Ukrainian army had reached the settlement.
Following the border breach in Kursk Oblast, the authorities declared a federal-level emergency. Those affected will receive 15,000 rubles, and those who lost property will be compensated with 150,000 rubles. The injured will receive between 300,000 and 600,000 rubles, and the relatives of the deceased will be provided with 1.5 million rubles.
