One of the entrances of a building at 18 Zheleznodorozhnaya Street in Shebekino, Belgorod Oblast, collapsed after a shelling. The region’s head, Vyacheslav Gladkov, shared this information via his Telegram channel on June 14.
According to emergency services, six individuals were evacuated from the partially destroyed fifth floor. Additionally, Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that two other residents were rescued from under the debris.
The incident resulted in at least five injuries. Three people were hospitalized, while the other two received medical assistance on the spot.
The Mash media outlet claimed that rescuers also found two bodies, but the authorities have not confirmed this information. Mash published a video from the scene, where cries for help can be heard coming from under the debris.
This is the second instance of an entire entrance collapsing due to shelling in Belgorod Oblast in the past two months. On May 12, a similar incident occurred on Shchors Street in Belgorod, resulting in 17 fatalities, including three children, and 19 injuries.
