The burial services for seven crew members of the IL-22M plane, which was shot down during the Wagner PMC mutiny, took place in Ivanovo. Governor Stanislav Voskresensky of Ivanovo did not mention the exact number of casualties. The eighth crew member was buried in Tambov. Local media reported these events on July 7.

In June, Governor Stanislav Voskresensky of Ivanovo publicly acknowledged the deaths of the crew members but did not reveal the specific number of casualties. The Mash Telegram channel published the names of eight pilots of the IL-22M aircraft. Footage from the funeral on July 7 showed the presence of seven coffins.

The eighth crew member, Artyom Milovanov, was laid to rest in Tambov. The Solid Sign publication reported about his funeral on July 7.

The plane was shot down on June 24 during the Wagner PMC mutiny, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin. On that same day, a Ka-52 helicopter also crashed. The governor of Pskov announced the names of the two deceased pilots from the reconnaissance helicopter.

According to the OSINT-project Oryx, the Defense Ministry may have lost at least five more helicopters. They reported that the Wagner Group shot down three radio-electronic warfare helicopters, as well as Mi-35M and Mi-8 helicopters. Rybar, a pro-war Telegram channel, mentioned the downing of seven aircraft and the deaths of at least 12 pilots. However, the Defense Ministry has not commented on this information.
