On March 15, Syktyvkar's civil activists applied for a rally "He is not Dimon", initiated by the Anti-Corruption Foundation of Alexei Navalny, scheduled for March 26. The venue for the rally was Theater Square. On March 18, organizers learned that the rally was denied. Document on the refusal, as reported by one of the coordinators of the action, will be received on Monday, March 20. Coordinators do not disclose the names for fear of persecution by the authorities.
Reason of the refusal is unknown. According to the organizers, Syktyvkar administration also did not offer another place for the action, although it was obliged to do that.
Organizers announced their intention to apply for a rally in Michurinsky Park, where such events were allowed. At the moment, the group of VKontakte has registered 305 people who are going to come to the meeting, and 183 of undecided. So far, they are exchanging opinions on where, how and in what form it is possible to hold an action.

At least part of the assembled, according to their own confessions, came to the action at the direction of the management of educational or budgetary institutions. The rally "He is not Dimon" is planned as an all-Russian action. By mid-March, applications for its conduct were filed in 54 cities.
