Moscow District Military Court at the visiting session in Syktyvkar convicted citizen of Azerbaijan Ramil Mirzamov of inducement to crime and public calls for extremist activity. Correspondent of «7x7» reported about it on February 20 from Komi Supreme Court building.
The accused admitted his guilt only on the episode with publications in the social network, but the court found him guilty and sentenced to eight years' imprisonment in a penal colony.
The Court found that Mirzamov recruited four students of Ukhta State Technical University, two of them left Russia in May, 2014 and took part in activities of prohibited in Russia terrorist organization "Islamic state" in Iraq and Syria. Furthermore, as follows from the case, from 2013 to 2014 Mirzamov published materials in the social network "VKontakte" calling to commit violence against those who did not profess Islam.
Mirzamov was detained in Dagestan, he was in the international wanted list.
