On December 9, Kursk Oblast activist Vladimir Sinelnikov published a video from the Black Angels strip club in the village of Korenevo, near the border with Ukraine. He claimed the club is owned by Timur Tivilev, a first cousin once removed of Marina Degtyareva, the head of the Korenevsky District.

Vladimir Sinelnikov, without citing sources, stated that the club was opened in 2022 to "provide entertainment for military personnel arriving in the district."

According to Sinelnikov, the club featured male and female striptease performances, with dancers hired by Maksim Degtyarev, Marina Degtyareva’s son. Degtyareva herself allegedly "resolved issues with law enforcement" following complaints from neighboring residents.

On December 10, the Telegram channel Mash, known for its ties to security forces, reported that Marina Degtyareva is under investigation for "LGBT propaganda and organizing prostitution." Details about when the investigation began or who initiated it have not been disclosed.

Ekaterina Degtyareva, the club’s social media manager, read a message sent by a 7x7 journalist but did not respond. According to Sinelnikov, she is also the wife of Marina Degtyareva’s son.

In November, over 2,000 residents of the Korenevsky District signed a petition calling for Marina Degtyareva’s dismissal. She refused to resign despite a recommendation from Kursk Governor Alexey Smirnov, who himself left office shortly after.
