A district head from Belgorod Oblast has decided to return to civilian life after three weeks of service in the BARS-Belgorod unit, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on December 2.
Andrey Gridnev, head of the Novooskolsky District, will return to office "in a week or two," Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced on December 2.
Gridnev joined the BARS-Belgorod unit on November 12.
"We, Belgorod Oblast residents, understand like no one else that our family, home, and Motherland are behind us. That is why we will stand here," the official wrote.
Earlier, Mikhail Lobaznov and Galina Rudenko, the respective heads of the Gubkinsky and Krasnogvardeysky Districts, returned to civilian life after spending about a month in BARS-Belgorod.
