HRH of Voronezh has long been rented an office at Tsuryupy, 34, which is located in the municipal property. Problems began in 2010 when rents rose almost thrice. Since then, once a year (and sometimes more often) they try to terminate the contract with HRH due to their insolvency. In late 2013 defenders again were asked to leave the place, but by way of negotiation it was saved. Although the new conditions can hardly be called feasible.
Human rights activists have repeatedly written statements requesting not to raise the fee. Debts were accumulated because of the inability to cover higher costs for rent, and penalty was charged. Earlier town hall promised to write off the debt, which is about 1.2 million rubles. There are no such paragraph under new conditions. It turns out that the Voronezh HRH will be necessary to give about 100 thousand per month throughout the year, plus to pay rent, which is about 200,000 per month this year.
“And they call it "concessions"”, Alyona Obyezdchikova, a deputy chairman of HRH, says. “We can’t just leave the room, if the conditions won’t be changed. Therefore, we will continue negotiations. We hope for a constructive outcome. We still have time — until April.”
