In microblog of Pavel Chikov — a member of the Presidental Human Rights Council — with reference to the following microblog: https://twitter.com/oooromanova, was reported that a prisoner is fasting in support of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova («Pussy Riot») in one of the penal colonies of Komi.
“Since the 25th of September in punitive confinement CS-45 in Yodva, Komi, Olga Romanenkova, mother of three children, have been fasting in support of Tolokonnikova”, was said.
In the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Komi the fact of fasting was confirmed, but another version of the incident was announced.
According to the Federal Penitentiary Service, convicted of fraud Romanenkova refused food on September 25 as on September 23 during the inspection of her personal effects a cellphone was detected in the coffee pot.
“A convicted demanded the prosecutor. She resumed eating on the 1th of October at 6 p.m.”, added in the press service.
