Anna Deryabina, a Z-volunteer from Chelyabinsk, launched a campaign to raise funds for body bags for those who died in the war in Ukraine. The channel "Chelyabinsk of the Future" highlighted this on August 28.

Anna Deryabina announced the campaign on the evening of August 28, but it was closed just a few hours later.

"As difficult as it is to say, we need body bags to transport our deceased guys. We need many, and each costs 200 rubles. Unfortunately, the guys have to cover this expense themselves, but their resources are not unlimited," Deryabina wrote.

Anna’s husband, 25-year-old Nikita Deryabin, was killed in March 2022, at the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since then, she has become a Z-volunteer, providing humanitarian aid to the military.

In August 2024, Deryabina launched a petition against a planned 700-drone show in Chelyabinsk, which gathered 56,000 signatures. She described the City Day celebration as a "spit in the face" and "dancing on bones." Following this, the authorities decided to cancel the event.
