On August 21, the Federal Security Service (FSB) conducted a training exercise in Kaluga Oblast to prevent the seizure of an industrial facility. This was reported by the media outlet "Kaluga Newsfeed," citing the FSB’s press office.

In the exercise scenario, "foreign saboteurs" attempted to capture an industrial enterprise and opened fire on military personnel.

During the simulation, the sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) "retreated" to a warehouse, prompting the head of the regional FSB division to implement a counterterrorism operation. The "attackers" were neutralized during the assault.

The training occurred amid the Ukrainian army’s incursion into Kursk Oblast. Ukrainian authorities claim to control 93 settlements within an area of over 1,260 square kilometers.
