On April 21, the Petrozavodsk City Court fined 32-year-old mother of two children Viktoria Voentseva for 10 thousand rubles. The correspondent of 7x7 reported this from the courtroom.

The police detained Viktoria Voentseva on the eve of an unagreed rally on April 21, but let her to bail because she has two minor children. Law enforcement officers drew up a report against the young woman under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Organization of a Public Event Without an Application Filed in the Prescribed Manner) for reposting a video from politician Alexei Navalny’s page on vk.com.

Voentseva attended the hearing with her 10-month-old son.

“The main thing is my family, children, and that I am afraid of problems. I am getting afraid for myself and my children. The consequences may be terrible, I do not know what this all may lead to. I am really afraid to post or repost anything now,” she told 7x7’s correspondent after the trial.

Six detainees were taken to the court together with her under the same article in the morning of April 21. They all were detained for reposting the video and placed in a detention room of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Administration in Petrozavodsk. Second-year student of PetrSU Daniil Belobokov has been arrested for seven days. Another detainee, 24-year-old Alexander, has been arrested for one day. The rest of the detainees have not been adjudicated yet. They are 69-year-old Vladimir Kiselyov, 34-year-old Anton Kogan, 47-year-old Sergei Malkov, and 53-year-old Elena Shchelupanova.
