The prosecutor's office of Ukhta considered that the event was held in a playful manner, there was no violence, which is confirmed by the explanations of teachers, students themselves, hospital's chief doctor and video.
According to the supervisory authority, on May 4, the police of Ukhta appealed to the leadership of the Industrial Institute at the Ukhta State Technical University to allocate 35 students to participate in the practical training on May 5.
An agreement on interaction between the educational institution and the police was signed in May 2016, so the students of the three groups were taken to the territory of a separate company of the patrol of guard service for trainings.
Head of the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Komi Vera Zheleztsova told «7x7» that the agency also conducted a check and did not reveal any violations by the police officers.
On May 5, 2017, students of the Ukhta Mining and Oil College were brought to the police training. The students were given posters and asked to shout anti-government slogans. The police detained the most active participants of the 'rally' and took them to the police cars.
A relative of one of the students claimed that not all students knew where they were being taken. According to him, the students were told that they were going on an excursion.
The Ministry of the Interior for the Komi could not comment on the information later appointed verification of reports on the training of Ukhta policemen.
