In Yaroslavl, on October 19, the first action of the decentralized youth movement “Termless Protest” or bessrochka was held. Activist Dmitry Agey was wearing Pensionator’s suit. Two of his comrades with posters were detained at the monument to the Yaroslavl bear. «7x7» correspondent was present at the rally.
What is the "Bessrochka"?
The "Termless Protest" movement appeared after a rally of supporters of Alexey Navalny against raising the retirement age on September 9, 2018. In the description of the community in the social network "VKontakte", dedicated to the movement, it is said that "bessrochka is a decentralized protest against Putin's power, it is a protest that doesn’t have a head that could be cut down and thus can not be beheaded. This is a completely civil initiative, a self-organized movement. Bessrochka is the beginning of a real civil resistance."
Pensionator from the future
On October 19, the activist of the "Termless Protest" Dmitry Agey went to the streets of Yaroslavl with a large poster as a "Pensionator" — with a reference to the Hollywood blockbuster "Terminator".
According to him, the main objectives of bessrochka are the resignation of the government and the abolition of the 282nd article of the Criminal Code (extremism).
"With my poster, I make people think about the future of pensioners and just older people," said the activist. "I do it a provocative way — people think that I am a bomzh. Cognitive dissonance. The message that I am trying to convey is in the minds of people, but no one expresses it."
"Garbage will not recycle itself"
Two comrades of Agey at this time sat with the posters on a bench at the monument to the Yaroslavl bear on Kirov street. The police approached them around 5:30 pm. One of the young people was holding the poster “Garbage will not recycle itself”, the other — “Pensioner, you are in the risk zone”. The adolescents did not have documents, and they were taken to the department for work with minors. At 7:30 pm young people were released.
In 2018, four mass rallies were held in Yaroslavl against the transportation of Moscow garbage from Moscow. Several environmental activists were detained while trying to block the road to the garbage truck.
On September 9, an uncoordinated march against pension reform took place in the center of Yaroslavl.
