Filming took place last summer. Initially the concept of the film was based solely on monologues of Russian gays, lesbians and transgender people who talked about their life in contemporary realities. But life made allowances itself: July 21, 2013 security officers detained a Dutch documentary crew at the camp site "Fregat" of the Murmansk region.

The European premiere of the tape held on May 17 in the Dutch Groningen (city, which is, by the way, twinned with Murmansk). Now the show was held in the capital of the Subarctic. Due to the fact that the crew members were deprived of the right of entry into the Russian Federation for 3 years, an opening statement was made by the head of the Murmansk public organization "Maximum" Sergey Alekseenko instead of the director Chris Van Der Veen. He talked briefly about the misadventures of the Netherlands subjects at the camp site and wished pleasant watching.

A discussion of the audience was held after the screening, at which they discussed the problems of the LGBT community in Russia.
