A list of scheduled inspections of non-governmental organizations in 2014 is published on the website of Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for the Murmansk region.
The staff of the Department of Justice will visit 33 organizations, including “Humanistic Youth Movement”, Kola Association of Women Lawyers, Nature and Youth, “Center for Social and psychological assistance and legal support to victims of discrimination and homophobia “Maximum”, House of Youth and other most active NGOs of the region.
So the first check is scheduled for January 20, right after the holidays; the Department of Justice is going to check the activities of environmental organization "Bellona".
Earlier, many of the organizations of the list have already been tested by procuracy in the past year. However, the Department of Justice, unlike prosecutors, will confine to documentary verification and won’t visit the offices.
